Do you provide a traditional Korean Dol setup?


Our Dol table designs are the Mix and Match style with Modern elements and Korean traditional features. We say it 'Fusion style'. We do not provide 100% korean traditional korean Dol table setup.




I want to have a theme on my party. How it works?


Theme is available applying on Plus, Classic, Premium and Ultimate plan. In general, we apply a theme on the design items such as Doljabi event kit, Welcome sign, Photo table and etc. When you reserve an Ultimate Dol +Dessert table combo plan, we can apply the theme on the whole setting. It means we will add the theme even on the Dol table decorations and backdrop design. The Ultimate Dol +Dessert table combo plan can be closer to the modern style party setup.




How can I reserve a setup plan?


1. Submit a reservation form from our website. 2. We send out an invoice to book your date. 3. You will be required to pay the half of the full price when you book. 4. Blance will be required to pay at 2 weeks before the event date.




My locations is further than 25 miles from your location. How much is the travel fee?


For any travel distance miles over 25 and up to 50miles, the charge is $2 per additional miles after 25 basic miles. For more distant locations or any special travel requirements, there may be additional charges. (All travel distances are measured in round trip driving miles using the default Google Maps.) [Example] If your locations is 32miles from us, you can pay a fee for an additional 7miles after 25 basic miles. 7miles x $2 = $14, $14 x 2(round trip)=$28. $28 is the additional travel fee. If your locations is 45miles from us, you can pay a fee for an additional 20miles after 25 basic miles. 20miles x $2 = $40, $40 x 2(round trip)=$80. $80 is the additional travel fee.




My venue is in the District of Columbia. What is the auxiliary service fee?


If your venue(you) does not provide a parking or only street parking available, there will be an extra service fee for parking. If the venue has a difficult accessible route, we will charge the auxiliary service fee. For example, no elevators, long distance to access to the venue for the loading. In this case, we will do a tour the venue and estimate the fee.

Travel  
There is no charge for the first 25 miles of the travel distance (from 22192).  If your location is further than 25miles from us,  there will be an additional fee for travel.
For any travel distance miles over 25 and up to 50miles, the charge is $2 per additional miles after 25 basic miles.
For more distant locations or any special travel requirements, there may be additional charges.
(All travel distances are measured in round trip driving miles using the default Google Maps.)
Service hours
Setup Service will be reserved for 4 hours. The time limit includes the setup, party time and breakdown. A setup takes about 1hr to 1hr 30 minutes. Breakdown takes about 30 minutes. If you need additional time, please let us now in advance. We can discuss the setup schedule also. 
Additional fees ($50/hr) may apply for additional party time.
Auxiliary Service fee
If you or your venue does not provide parking spaces(2 vehicle spots) for the event, there may be parking fees. ($35/event)
A difficult the accessibility may cause an auxiliary service fee for example an inaccessible driveway, no elevator and just stairs to access when your space is upper /lower area. We will have a tour the venue to estimate in this case. (Typically 5-10% of Total amount)
Fresh Flower Arrangements and Centerpieces options

Fresh flower arrangement is replacement for artificial selections. 

We select the types and style by season and availability.  Customer can not limit the type of flowers and design.

Seasonal Fruits and Rice cakes options
We bring seasonal fruits and rice cakes for main dol table decoration with an additional option. We select fresh and good quality seasonal fruits. Rice cakes will be mixed with available rice cakes when we shop. Customer can take the fruits and rice cakes after party to their home.
Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, PayPal and any other money transfer apps. Full payment of the rental package required when you reserve a date. If you want to pay by a personal check, we do not hold the date until the received the check is clear.
Chookha Setup Service Terms and Conditions

  1. Fill out the Reservation form on the Reserve Page.

  2. We send you a confirmation about the reservation ( Parties are booked on a first come first serve basis. Please reserve your package 1-2 month in advance to secure your reservation. If the date you requested is not available, we will let you know of any alternative dates and time we have available.)

  3. After you confirm your reservation, we send you an invoice to make a payment. We require 50% down to reserve the setup services and remaining balance due two weeks before the event date. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, PayPal and any other money transfer apps. Your payments acknowledges that you accept the terms and conditions of our Reservation, Cancellation and Return policy. Once we receive the payment, your setup package is officially booked.

  4. Setup Service will be reserved for 4 hours. The time limit includes the setup, party time and breakdown. If you need additional time, please let us now in advance. We can discuss the setup schedule also. Additional fees may apply for additional party time.

  5. Setup location without additional charge limited within 25 miles from our location(22192). If your location is further than 25miles from us,  there will be an additional fee for travel.

  6. To avoid additional charges, we require at least 31days advance notice if you need to cancel your service. If you cancel within 30-15days of your reserved date, you will be refunded 50% of your payment. If you cancel within 14 days of your event date, you will be responsible for 100% of the rental price. (refund is not available) Any Party no reschedule will be subject to our cancellation policy.

  7. Inclement weather/illness cancellation are handle on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to reschedule your party. If you choose to cancel the party due to severe weather or illness, please remember your refund is not available. (within 14days of your event day) The service must be reschedule. We cannot guarantee the new day/time you would want but we will work with you to reschedule your party for an alternate date.

  8. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without notice.

How does the rental service work?


Customer select a pre-setted image from our website/instagram or select from our fabric list for Dol table then we will match other decorations.




Can I rent items partially?


Yes. You can rent items partially. However the fee is the same because we are not able to rent out the remaining items.




How the customized option works on a rental?


You can apply the customized option/theme on the design items such as Doljabi event kit, Welcome sign, Photo table etc.




Do I have to pay the full price when I reserve? or pay only a deposit?


Yes. You have to pay the full price when you reserve a rental. A deposit will be required when you pick up the rental items. We hold the deposit until you return the items. You will get your deposit back after inspection of the returned items.




When can I pick up the rental items?


You can pick up a day before the event date and return the next day of the event date. There is a late fee of $50 per day for every additional day that you are late in returning the rental.

Pickup & Return Location  (Zipcode 22192)
We will send the address when you complete the reservation for a rental.
Pickup & Return Time  
Pickup is available from 10:30AM-6:00PM the day prior to your event . Returns are due anytime from 10:30AM-6:00PM the day after your event (A LATE FEE OF $50 WILL BE ASSESESSED AFTER 6PM)
Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, PayPal and other money transfer apps(cash app/venmo etc.).
Full payment of the rental package required when you reserve a date.

Deposit
Deposit can be paid by Personal check and Cash on the day of pickup.
If you want to pay by credit card or other money transfer apps, please let us know. Deposit should be paid at least a day before the pick up day in this case.
Deposit is refunded 24 hours after return of rental package in the following way:
Personal Check -> Void 
Credit Card -> Refund to card
Cash -> PayPal, Check or other money transfer apps(cash app/venmo etc.)

  4. Rental service requires a deposit. Basic rental package deposit is $150, Hanbok rental deposit is $100. Your deposit can be paid by personal check and cash on the day of pickup. It will be refunded 100%(void if your deposit paid by personal check) when it is returned in original condition without damages or loss. If there is damage or loss, we will deduct the amount of damages or loss from your deposit, remaining charges will be assessed according to items, damaged or loss over the deposit fee if applicable.

  5. You can pick up a day before event day and drop off the next day of event date. There is a late fee of $50 per day for every additional day that you are late in returning the rental.
